I am in the season of quietly growing and healing. I learned I had type 1 diabetes shortly before my 50th birthday- I prefer being independent, learning I needed to be dependent on insulin for the rest of my life, I needed to make peace with this. On top of this when my Dad got sick almost 2.5 years ago I took on role of oldest daughter/advocate. As one who goes with the flow, I learned how to speak up. Grateful forever for the 2 months we had before he passed away. It is a process. Thank you!!

My mom passed last month after a 2.5 yr journey with cancer and now I'm taking on the role of oldest daughter advocate for my dad as he learns to live alone. It's a lot. It's so refreshing to find this space of gentle sharing and camaraderie. I'm also here to hold space with you. 7x autoimmune condition thriver over here.🙋♀️
