What a great way to put it. Its great to strive for something of course, but who's to tell us that we are not stacking up enough to someone else's measuring stick, that we are not enough as is, especially if its us telling ourselves. Lets be honest, most of the time it IS us.. that inner voice.. thinking we are proving it outwardly.. likely story. :) Looks like its time to stop mathing.
Right? It's insane however I needed to own up and realize I can be my worst enemy. The realizing, while hard to hold the mirror up to my self, is exactly what needs to happen to step away from the calculator.
Carolyn you are the kindest. I think a lot of women do this...I'm not saying men don't but so many posts I read or convo's I have in rooms with women it's a common theme.
